The Vipers Baseball Club is growing faster than an Aroldis Chapman fastball. The club that had just one team in 2009 had grown to over 18 teams from 7 years old all the way through high school age. They had outgrown their current website solution and needed to evolve to the next level. An important goal was to help their high school age players who had dreams of playing college baseball.
The first priority was a website to help educate players about the recruiting process, and promote those same players to college coaches. This website would be very complex, as it would require a Recruiting Tips Blog, FULL details (including video and pictures) on every high school age player, as well as the ability to keep track of college recruiting events and educational resources.
WebTopLine worked with the Vipers board of directors to deliver this solution. Each player interested in playing college baseball has their own profile page. The Recruiting Tips Blog is a wealth of information on the complicated college athlete recruiting process. In addition, Vipers who met their goal and were offered spots on college rosters can be showcased and congratulated publicly! Social media is integrated with the content, and the site can be maintained via secure login from desktop or from a mobile device.
The site went live in May 2017. You can find the site at vipersrecruiting.org.
The Vipers Recruiting website is exactly what we needed. We can educate and help promote our players. It is integrated with our social media accounts and is VERY easy to maintain. I can manage player profiles, blog articles and recruiting events - from my desktop or even from my phone! We love it!
